The team behind the much-loved preschool dance classes, diddi dance, has reason to celebrate this year as the fast growing franchise has been honored with a gold accreditation from the Children’s Activities Association. The classes, loved by parents and little ones alike, was recently endorsed by the Exercise Movement and Dance Academy with not only the lessons accredited but the high standard of dance training given to franchisees too. To be one of the first preschool classes in the UK to be awarded gold by the Children’s Activities Association is undoubtedly a fantastic achievement and evidence of the brand’s continued success.

The Children’s Activities Association, which launched last year, was set-up by a team of leading industry experts to provide a new code of practice to assist parents when choosing pre-school classes, clubs and extracurricular activities. To become fully accredited gold members, classes must adhere to 5 key modules and policies covering Compliance, Training, Programme, Delivery & Customer Service. Judged by Fundamentally Children, an independent body led by Dr Amanda Gummer, the new accreditation will be sure to stand out as a brilliant endorsement for diddi dance and a stamp of approval for all parents.image1

At the recent 2016 What’s On 4 Junior Awards, diddi dance Founder Anne-Marie collected the CAA Member of the Year award for diddi dance, solidifying the hard work that has gone into making diddi dance a trusted brand. When Anne-Marie was asked about the win she said: “We are so proud to be fully accredited by the CAA so our parents know our company has been thoroughly checked and our lesson plans approved. To then receive this award is the icing on the cake that as a member we have shown the qualities to impress the board to chose diddi da
nce to win.”

diddi dance are dedicated to making sure all current franchisees are teaching a class and running a business inline with CAA’s standards and with that take the time to anaylse and award the accreditation to those franchises who meet those standards, such as Joanna Oastler from diddi dance Eastbourne, Uckfield & Hastings who became the first diddi dance franchisee to receive the gold accreditation.

Anne-Marie commented on the process: “All of our franchisees are trained and monitored to our high standards, however having gone through this accreditation process ourselves we realised the benefit of asking our franchisees to check their Code of Practice, as well.”
