Clive's Easylearn Pop Music Schools

Clive's Easylearn Pop Music Schools are rock music classes for children age 7 years and  upwards, who want to learn either guitar, bass, drums keyboards or singing and perform in a real rockband from their very first lesson.
The Clive's Easylearn Pop Music Schools network has grown steadily throughout the last 10+ years through franchising. Clive's Easylearn classes are now available throughout the UK in most major cities and towns and also have franchise outlets in Ireland. The Rock and Pop Schools are loved by parents and children alike as an exciting and vibrant alternative to the traditional grind of learning a pop music instrument. There are currently around 80 Clive's Easylearn Pop Music Schools franchise outlets, with plans for continuous expansion.
Clive's Easylearn delivers over 50,000 lessons to young people each year, and in 2007 won the British Franchise Association's HSBC Award for Enterprise at the Franchisor of the Year Awards. Throughout all this growth, the business has remained completely family-owned, and retains all the important values that go with that.

Operations Director Sophie Brooks took over from the business founder Clive Brooks, her father, in 2010, just as the business was about to celebrate its 30th anniversary. She has been surrounded by the family business all of her life and, since leaving college in 2006 has worked full-time at head office, initially as a Franchise Support Assistant, then as Franchise Support Manager before inhabiting her current role as Operations Director.
Sophie's passion is now on the developing and expanding the award-winning business from its current size, and seeks to build on her father's original vision for making music simple, fun and easy, and to providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to become franchisees and change their lives for the better. She sees the tremendous value of encouraging women into the business and firmly believes that women have exceptional and unique skills for working with children that can make them absolutely excellent franchisees.

Sophie runs her own successful outlet of the Clive's Easylearn brand in Lymington.
