Animals at Home Ltd was established in 2003 to provide a template pet care franchise business.

The business model proved very successful from it’s inception on the Isle of Wight, and quickly built up over the first five years; very soon becoming established as the ‘National Pet Care Company’.

Animals at Home now has 58 branches nationwide and is continuing to grow at a steady pace.

The Core Services of all Animals at Home franchised branches are a DEFRA Approved and Licensed animal ambulance / pet transport vehicle, dog home boarding and care, dog walking, cat care, small pets visits and smallholding cover. Many branches offer equine and livestock care also.

The values of the company, which are echoed in the franchised branches are animal welfare, a positive and tried and tested business model, second to none training and support, and continued professional development; all this being achieved while having a flexible and healthy lifestyle.

A dedicated in-house trainer and mentor monitors new franchisees closely throughout their first six months; and from then the franchisees are able to cope, manage and sustain their clients and animals. Help and support is available at all times throughout their pet care franchisee career from the training manager and support staff.

Being a progressive company, Animals at Home offer continued professional development, support and ongoing training via specialist courses, local and national meetings and one-to-one advice.
