Emily is a commercial contracts lawyer with specialist knowledge and experience in the field of franchising. For over 11 years Emily has advised franchisors and franchisees on their franchise agreements and other associated documentation. Emily has drafted many franchise agreements in a range of business sectors and is on the panel of recommended lawyers for a major high street chain of hairdressers and a care franchise for her franchisee work. To date, she has reviewed more franchise agreements than she can recall, ranging from high street retail to baby swimming and just about everything in between! On this basis she is able to use her experience to offer a cost effective, fixed fee report service (10% discount offered to EWIF members) for prospective franchisees ensuring they fully understand the implications of what they are signing up to.
Emily is lead franchise lawyer at Paris Smith LLP, a full service law firm based in Southampton and Winchester.
