If you’re thinking about becoming an Ambassador for EWiF you’re in the right place! You may still be asking yourself, ‘Is EWiF Ambassadorship right for me?’ and this page is designed to answer all of your questions and help you to make the decision on whether to go through with the application process.
EWiF Ambassadors are first and foremost a community. Any company, and it’s employees, can become an EWiF Ambassador, male or female, franchisor or service provider to the industry. The thing that binds all EWiF Ambassadors together, is their common desire to give back, as well as to take advantages that being an Ambassador can bring. As a collective group, it is our joint mission to encourage more women into franchising. By joining our growing network of Ambassadors, you show your support for our mission and agree to positively support and encourage women who may benefit from your advice and guidance, whether already in the industry or looking to join, as your fellow Ambassadors will support you.

We’d love to welcome you, give you an introduction to EWiF and our community. Your first meeting is completely FREE of charge and there’s no obligation to join should you not find it a match for you. EWiF Community
Network with like-minded people at our free Ambassador EWiF Regional Meetings and access valuable knowledge sharing, advice and guidance.
Volunteering
Give back to the community by volunteering your time to help the EWiF mission and make a positive difference to others. There are many ways you can get involved: mentor a prospective/new franchisor, volunteer an hour or two on the EWiF stand at various exhibitions, share your story and advice with others at the regional meetings, and help grow the knowledge about EWiF in your local area, and much more.
Marketing & PR
Receive a dedicated website profile page, be considered for speaking opportunities across the UK, upload news stories and case studies to the EWiF website and gain profile and PR opportunities. Plus receive an Ambassador Logo, Ambassador Certificate and an Ambassador Lapel Badge to showcase your support of EWiF.
Regional Meetings
We hold regular Regional EWiF meetings around the UK to make sure that each and every one of our Ambassadors
The meetings are FREE for our Ambassadors and you can attend as many as you like, and in any region. It doesn’t just have to be the region where you’re based! The meetings are open to both men and women within the industry, after all, we all work together to help encourage more women into franchising!

The ins’ and outs’
• Becoming an Ambassador of EWiF is £160 per annum per company from the date of joining.
• Only one named person from each company will be included in the Ambassador contact list. That person will be responsible for disseminating meeting dates and information to their colleagues.
• You commit to support EWiF through supporting events, attending regional meetings and positively promoting our principles. We would request Ambassadors attend our Annual Awards and Conference, as well as at least 2 regional meetings each year, but it is not compulsory. Any person from the Ambassador company, including franchisees, may attend our meetings.
• EWiF is a community who give back. By joining EWiF you show your support for our mission and agree to positively support and encourage women who may benefit from your advice and guidance, whether already in the industry or looking to join.
The Application Process
EWiF Ambassadorship will not be automatically granted to all applicants. Ambassadorship applications will be put to a committee and if there are no objections, Ambassadorship will be approved.
People who wish to become Ambassadors are invited to attend an initial regional meeting at no cost. After their attendance, they may be invited to join. Their application must be supported by a current EWiF Ambassador.
