Hello and welcome to the EWIF North West page.
I am delighted to be chairing the North West for EWIF. EWIF is a wonderful community in which women are supported in the development and expansion of their business, knowledge and experiences are shared, and achievements celebrated. I hope to build upon the already fantastic work by previous chairs to offer informative seminars driven by members’ business needs, access to information and the sharing of experiences at the regular regional meetings. As North West Chair, my aim is to continue to assist in raising the profile of EWIF, its members and the fantastic work of the organisation.” Rebecca Young.
Rebecca Young and Alexandra Wood are lawyers within the Commercial Advisory team, providing specialised legal services at BLM, combined with a common sense approach. Rebecca is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Litigation team, and will be supported by Alexandra Wood, a Senior Associate in the Business Advisory team in building the presence of the North West Region for EWIF. BLM’s Commercial Advisory team has a longstanding history of providing services to the franchise sector in a move to BLM last Autumn (2017), as part of a strategic move to diversify into additional areas of law whilst complementing the core insurance offering. Primarily based out of Manchester and London but offering national support as well as access to an international network, BLM’s Commercial Advisory team provides a broad spectrum of franchising expertise, from non contentious commercial advisory on franchise agreements to advising upon leases for premises, to litigation, media and reputation management.
