WELCOME TO ENCOURAGING WOMEN INTO FRANCHISING
We are a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, providing advice and guidance to women looking for a route into the franchise industry. Our mission is to educate, inspire and empower women considering or involved in franchising through a network of Ambassadors. Our remit is threefold; to encourage women to consider buying a franchise, to encourage businesswomen to franchise their existing operations and to help franchisors attract more women to their networks.
At EWiF, we’re looking to change the face of the franchise sector so that women have a much larger presence. If you’re a woman interested in franchising, click to find out how we can help you.
EWiF is built on our community of Ambassadors, who offer free services to women seeking advice and guidance on entering the franchise industry. Click to find out more about becoming an EWiF Ambassador.

“EWiF is a unique and special organisation. Franchising is a unique sector and especially for a woman in franchising it can be very isolating and a very lonely journey. My introduction to EWiF sums up the organisation beautifully; it is warm, welcoming, supportive and everyone is willing to help, it is a safe space to share ideas and advice and you are valued. Whatever stage of the journey you are on and wherever you sit within the franchise industry there will be someone ahead of you and someone looking to you for help and advice. Wonderful!”
Jane James, Franchisor and Founder of Little Voices
“As someone new to the world of franchising the EWiF conference was invaluable in helping me both learn about the industry and build vital networks.”
Lucy Frost, Costcutter Supermarkets Ltd
“We are so proud to be partnering with EWiF in 2022, as their mission is extremely important to us as a business and to the clients we work with. Throughout years of working within the franchise industry, we’ve seen how the work EWiF does has created a more positive and inclusive standard within the sector. The support they offer for women who are looking to get involved in the sector is unparalleled, and their events are always a joy to attend.”
