We hold regular Regional EWiF meetings around the UK to create an action group of people in that region who are dedicated to supporting the EWiF mission. Each region creates their own plan and agenda for how they will encourage more women into franchising in their region. As well as a workgroup, each meeting also features an expert speaker. These speakers will speak on a wide range of topics depending what the Ambassadors in that region want to hear about. We also want to make sure that each and every one of our Ambassadors has the opportunity to network and meet with their peer Ambassadors as well as industry experts to gain extra knowledge and advice as well as share theirs with the other attendees.
The meetings are FREE for our Ambassadors and you can attend as many as you like, and in any region. It doesn’t just have to be the region where you’re based! The meetings are open to both men and women within the industry, after all, we all work together to help encourage more women into franchising!

The meetings act as a forum for men and women within the franchise industry and those interested in joining, to gain knowledge, share ideas and forge relationships for support within their own sectors and the franchise industry as a whole. Having various regions in place across the UK makes it much easier for busy business owners to attend a meeting that’s nearer to their business location!

Bring-a-buddy
This year, we’re running a Bring-A-Buddy scheme, where we are inviting our ambassadors to invite a ‘buddy’ along to any of the EWiF meetings, to see for themselves what we’re all about. We want to encourage more women into franchising for themselves, one of the best ways we believe we can do this, is by expanding our inspirational army of EWiF Ambassadors. Connect your friends to an industry which could enhance their business, or benefit from their services, plus you could win EWiF Ambassador of the Month if your friend(s) becomes an EWiF member!
So, take a look at your inner circle or network. Who are you connected with, and what could they offer to the wider franchise community? Or, how could franchising inspire them to fulfil their true self? Then, just invite them along to the next meeting in your region. If we all invited just one person, and they, in time, invited someone else, through the power of connection EWiF’s impact could really grow in 2023!
