Sabeena Kondogeorgis is a fully trained Management Accountant (CIMA) and has worked in Commercial Finance in retail for 16 years. She describes herself as someone with great communication skills who loves working with people and she’s managed several teams and projects throughout her career.
After the birth of her child, Sabeena realised she wanted to start doing something that gives back to the community rather working for large corporations. It was then that she found MagiKats in the Elite Franchise list of top 100 franchises to work for in the UK in the education sector. Sabeena explains why MagiKats became an obvious choice,
“Education has always been an important factor when growing up and I understand how it gives you a wealth of opportunity throughout life. I thought MagiKats had the right principles of how to teach the foundations of Maths and English and liked the fact that the teaching was done in small groups to encourage pupils to interact with each other and express their opinions which I believe is the best way of understanding and learning new concepts no matter how young or old you are.
“I was attracted to the fact that MagiKats is a family business and really cares about the well-being of its pupils. It is more than just completing worksheets to pass exams; it is designed to help students gain the grounding in Maths and English as well as transferable skills and confidence which will help them throughout their life which sets MagiKats apart from its competition.”
Sabeena now says she is looking forward to being part of an established brand with a high standard of working, getting to know her pupils and helping them reach their full potential.
She has lived in Woodford Green for nearly five years and was born and lived in Waltham Forest before this. She’s married with a 2-year-old daughter as well as being a keen kickboxer, Salsa dancer and swimmer.
