We are sad to announce that due to the on-going situation with the Coronavirus, we will be postponing the EWIF Pre-Awards Reception and Award Ceremony events planned for Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th April, 2020.

We were informed yesterday, Thursday 5th March, by our event host NatWest, they are unable to host large gatherings at their buildings for the foreseeable future. This is to help minimise risk of infection. As a company who are based in London, their decision follows many other London-based venues. Andrew Styles, Acting Director for Franchise at NatWest released the following statement.

NatWest is actively managing the evolving impact of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, with the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, customers and communities being our main priority. Following guidance from international and local health organisations, as well as our own safety and security procedures, we’ve taken the difficult decision to postpone the EWIF Awards on the 28th April 2020. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but we don’t believe bringing together a group of this size in the current environment is the right thing to do.

As you may be aware, the Coronavirus situation is developing every day, and as a result, we are unable to yet offer an alternative date for the 2020 NatWest EWIF Awards.

We know this is an exciting date in your annual calendar, so please be assured we will reschedule as soon as possible and the award finalists will still be announced this month as planned. If you cannot make the new date and have already purchased your tickets, we guarantee you will be fully refunded on the ticket price.

We apologise for any difficulties this may cause you, but hope you understand our current situation. We look forward to celebrating the success of women in franchising, as soon as we can!

Thank you for your patience and understanding,

The EWiF Team
