Basking Babies is a national franchise business offering pregnancy relaxation, baby massage, baby reflexology and baby yoga classes. Our current team of 16 passionate, expert instructors offer both in-person and live online award-winning classes to support parents from pregnancy to pre-school.

Basking Babies is owned and run by Carla Davison and first started when Carla was pregnant with her first child. She was so intrigued by the associated benefits of baby massage for both parent and baby she decided to train as an instructor. What started as classes from her house in Brentwood soon grew and she took on her first 3 franchisees in May 2014. Also in May 2014 Carla expanded the business into pre-crawling baby yoga.

Basking Babies is currently a team of 16 franchisees who cover the whole of Essex, as well as parts of Cambridgeshire and Bristol. There is now proven track record, and everything is in place to scale the business across the UK.

Basking Babies will continue to evolve as Carla constantly reinvests and makes improvements. In January 2019 Basking Babies began offering baby reflexology, April 2019 saw the launch of baby yoga for crawling babies, with classes for walking babies launching in November 2021. In 2020, due to the covid-19 pandemic, Carla facilitated an overnight switch from running face to face classes to live online classes.
