With an ageing population and rising dementia statistics, the need for quality homecare has never been greater, and our passion for providing this is the foundation of our business model.
We offer a wide range of services, including companionship, home help, personal care, dementia care, and live-in care, to help individuals maintain the life they know and love, and receive the care they need in the comfort of their home. We also work closely with local authorities and the NHS to ensure that these services are accessible to all.
SylvianCare is a family run business co-founded by brother and sister team, Silviu Pop and Cristina Grancea, who both come from a background in the health and social care sector and related services. Silviu has a degree in nursing and has extensive experience of working with people with learning disabilities, and in complex dementia units. Cristina comes from a long career as a social worker. Our caring nature, and strong desire to help others, has always been a powerful driving force in our careers, and we are very proud to have now brought that energy to bear in creating a successful business which continues to have a positive impact on those most in need in our community.
Our first office opened to serve the Reading & Wokingham area in 2014 and reached a turnover of more than £2million in just 4 years. In 2018, we were approached by someone who was moved by our success story and offered to buy a franchise from us. This marked the beginning of our franchising journey, and we are thrilled to be able offer an exciting franchise opportunity to other individuals who share our values and vision.
We want all of our franchise partners to share in our success, which is why we are 100% committed to supporting them in every way we can, including ongoing training, business development, HR, and tender writing, as well as ensuring each franchisee has their own dedicated franchise support manager.
While many care companies struggle with a shortage of care workers in the UK, SylvianCare has developed a comprehensive recruitment programme to help franchisees recruit high-quality staff. Our cloud-based care management software also makes it easy for franchisees to access necessary paperwork remotely and helps to reduce the admin burden so that they can make the most effective use of their time. Our franchise partners also benefit from strong peer support through weekly collaboration sessions and monthly managers’ network meetings.
The franchise fee for SylvianCare is £27,000, with an additional investment of £30,000 in working capital to cover operating costs until the business reaches breakeven. Franchise partners can expect to achieve £1 million turnover by year 4, with an ongoing royalty fee of 5% of annual turnover.
