Are you looking to get healthy for the summer months? Have no fear, EWIF is here! As part of our fundraising for our 2019 charity, Smart Works and raising general awareness of EWIF, the Virtual 10k is back for a second year! Plus, we now have a Virtual 5k run too!

Virtual Runner has teamed up with EWIF for the second year running, to raise awareness of franchising and the opportunities available to women in business.

You can take part in two ways. Complete a 10k challenge (split over two months) or complete a 5k run.

10K Challenge

Run or walk a minimum of 10k between 1st July and 31st August. This can be done anytime during the 2 months and can be split up over that time, so you don’t need to complete it all in one go! If you fancy doing more that 10k that’s absolutely fine, the more you do, the higher up the results table you’ll go.

Entry cost: £12 with 30% going to charity

5k Run

Run or walk a 5k between 1st July and 31st August 2019.This run can be done anytime during the two months but it must be completed all in one go to receive your medal.

Entry cost: £12 with 30% going to charity

If you complete either of these challenges, you will be awarded with an EWIF Summer Challenge medal! There are two medals, one for each race so to pick up both of these you just need to complete both runs! To claim you medals, you need to track your walk or run with a tracking app such as Strava and then submit these via the Virtual Runner website to prove your distance and race time. Submissions are required by 3rd September at 12 noon to claim your medal.

A minimum of 30% donation (from the full price entry) will be donated to EWIF’s chosen charity Smart Works. To read more about EWIF’s chosen charity, click here, complete with a royal stamp of approval.
