Claudiu Dordea, Director and Registered Manager of Sylvian Care Farnham, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Stars of Social Care Awards in the “Inspirational Home Care Manager Award (South)” category. With their mission of “shining a light on brilliance in social care”, these awards are considered to be among the most prestigious in the industry, and for one of our newest franchisees to be shortlisted so soon is an incredible achievement.
Claudiu, alongside his partner Andrada, are also among our youngest franchisees. Their complementary skills are a real testament to the spirit of teamwork and partnership we like to champion right across our growing network. Claudiu is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in quality and compliance, while Andrada focuses on driving the business’ growth, making them the perfect team. Their youthful energy and professionalism have significantly contributed to their growing success, demonstrating the potential within our franchise network for those committed to making positive change for their communities.
Both Claudiu and Andrada initially came to the UK not to work in care, but to complete university degrees in Psychology and in Business Management, respectively. However, to support themselves while studying, they found jobs as carers and fell in love with the sense of purpose that caring for others brought them. What started as a part-time job to make ends meet soon grew into a vocation which would come to define their lives, and eventually lead them to the Sylvian Care franchise.
Claudiu’s nomination as a finalist for this award not only speaks volumes about his and Andrada’s commitment to excellence, but also about how franchises like Sylvian Care can help young entrepreneurs thrive in the UK care sector. The combination of their skill, dedication and passion, and our framework of support, has proven to be a real winning formula!
