In 2017 Fiona assisted over 24 females run businesses with franchise legal advice to help start up their franchise or with their existing franchise. Fiona’s advice has been wide ranging from those wanting to become a franchise owner, to established multi-unit regional DA’s, businesses that want to start franchising, pilot franchise roll out, established franchisors with guidance and support (including last year’s woman franchisor of the year), franchise resales, GDPR compliance and franchise terminations, compliance training at franchisee conferences, brand protection, registration and enforcement.
Fiona was appointed External Relations Committee Member for the British Franchise Association – in which capacity she has also helped raise the profile of women in franchising and was shortlisted for the EWIF Awards Service Provider of the Year 2017.
