Fiona is the founder and MD of ARTventurers and couldn’t be happier about receiving her award for Woman Franchisor of The Year 2018, “I was over the moon! It was a real honour just to be shortlisted as a finalist alongside so many inspirational female franchisors so to win was just amazing.” Her modest outlook and team work ethic have helped Fiona achieve her goals. “I’m thrilled for all of the ARTventurers team – we have very much a team approach at ARTventurers and ARTventurers wouldn’t be the business it is without the passion, enthusiasm and support that I get from all of our franchisees.”
As MD of ARTventurers Fiona was invited to become a Champion for the City of Sunderland Bid to become City of Culture 2021. She appeared as a guest on Chatty Lasses on Made in Tyne and Wear TV to talk about the benefits of art and creative play for children, wrote an article that appeared in Parenting with Jo Frost magazine in summer 2017 and spoke at two events for International Women’s Day 2017, being the keynote speaker at one event.
