HomeXperts Awarded for Franchise Growth
The NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) Awards are now over and we’re shining the spotlight on each of our winners. Sussanne Chambers won the Woman Franchisor of the Year Award sponsored by Franchise Finance at this year’s ceremony.
Sussanne launched her HomeXperts business model in 2010 and has experienced controlled and measured growth over the last five years whilst delivering the ethos of amazing franchisee support. Signing up 13 new franchisees throughout 2015, Sussanne saw an increase of 347% in turnover. She won her award for her dedication to the growth of the HomeXperts franchise network as well as a dedication to supporting franchisees to make sure they get the very best out of their businesses. Sussanne is also committed to the EWIF cause and has supported a number of women in her franchise network.
“I was totally delighted to win my award, especially for the team at our Central Support Office who all work so hard to provide an amazing level of customer service to our wonderful franchisees. We are growing the business in a controlled way, ensuring we have an ethical recruitment process. We have also invested heavily in state-of-the-art technology, including our award-winning Hub which is our franchise operating system. We have also grown our franchise support team, creating eight new jobs and bringing a wealth of experience into our support team which has enabled us to grow the business substantially over the last year,” explains Sussanne.
HomeXperts have worked tirelessly to make sure that each and every one of their franchisees gets the most out of their system and network and this is one of the main reasons for her award win. Sussanne knows that she must offer a strong support system in order to have a strong franchise network.
“We know that only 23% of franchisees across all franchise sectors are women. I am hoping our award will encourage more women to join HomeXperts where they can have a successful and profitable business, working for themselves whilst being supported within the HomeXperts franchise model. To celebrate winning this award we are offering a free HomeXperts franchise to a lady looking for a great franchise opportunity, if you are interested please get in touch!” adds Sussanne.
EWIF’s primary focus is to support women who are looking for a route into the franchise industry. Our remit is threefold; to encourage women to consider buying a franchise, to encourage business women to franchise their existing operations and to help franchisors attract more women to their networks. We are a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, providing advice and guidance to anyone looking at trying to break into the franchise industry.
