Razzamataz Theatre Schools is offering the best present that you can give a child, and that’s the gift of confidence and education. With Christmas just round the corner, family and friends looking to give a gift that will have lasting benefits for years to come, may want to consider purchasing performing arts classes with Razzamataz Theatre Schools.
There are more than 60 schools across the UK, all offering something that is long-lasting and providing something more substantial than any traditional present can give. Children who attend Razzamataz take part in singing, dancing and acting lessons, but more than that, they become part of a community where they are celebrated for who they are, which builds their confidence, self-esteem and provides important life skills.
“Having no family in England nearby, our daughter wasn’t used to people outside of the family home,” says a parent from Razzamataz Plymouth. “She started Razzamataz just a few weeks ago and the insecure, shy little girl who wouldn’t leave our side is now full of so much more life. She adores her classes and now all she wants to do is take charge and perform! She’s changed so much in such a short space of time, and we have Razzamataz to thank for that. Rebecca and the team are so welcoming and really do put their hearts into their classes. We hope this journey is a long one and can’t wait to see how she develops more.”
Razzamataz offers classes for babies up until the age of 18. The social interaction and fun within the schools creates an environment where children easily make new friends and find their tribe of young people who share the same passions.
Many people struggle to think of gifts for children or parents find they are receiving too much stuff that will inevitably end up in landfill after the five minutes of initial excitement wears off. By investing in Razzamataz, as well as building confidence, there are many other practical skills that will benefit children throughout their life.
“There has been so much research into the benefits of participation in performing arts, everything from improved mental and physical health through to creative thinking, motivation and teamwork,” says Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz. “We are yet to fully understand the impact of lockdowns on young people, but we do know that giving them a safe space to explore ideas through drama, move their bodies during dance and feel pure joy while singing, can only be a good thing for them.”
Razzamataz is a leading theatre school franchise, winning many national awards and featuring across media outlets. With a recognisable and strong brand, there are many opportunities for strong partnerships and affiliations, which is beneficial for not only the students, but also the franchise partners too.
“The unique opportunities within Razzamataz means that the schools stand out from the local competition by offering truly memorable experiences,” adds Denise. “This includes performing opportunities at West End theatres, London’s 02, Disneyland Paris and coming up, a New York educational experience.”
By being part of a respected franchise brand, franchise partners can work with industry experts such as West End and Broadway star Kerry Ellis, popular street dance team Diversity who performed at the Queen’s platinum jubilee concert and multi-national brands including Warner Bros. Entertainment, First Choice, 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures to name just a few.

There are approximately 60 schools throughout the UK with many job opportunities available from assistants to teachers and staff members. Many of our current franchisees started out in this way and have progressed through the ranks. To further support those with the ambition to open their own Razzamataz school, the team has launched the Razzamataz Training Academy, a platform that will revolutionise the ongoing development of staff. Upon completion of the course, available free of charge to all Razzamataz staff for a limited period, each teacher will receive a diploma that is recognised throughout the network.
