Have the best of both worlds!

We all dream of doing a job we love. After all, the average person spends the majority of their day working. More than sleep or leisure time – work takes up so many precious hours, so it’s a no brainer to want to make all these hours as pleasurable as possible. And yet who can actually say that they enjoy their job? And not only that but to also have control and flexibility to make their working life as easy and enjoyable as possible. Sounds like a pipe dream, right?

But not if you’re a babyballet franchisee. If you’re prepared to really put your money where your mouth is then you too can reap the benefits of a truly flexible and fulfilling career and lifestyle. With time for doing what you love and being there for your family, a babyballet franchise really can offer the best of both worlds.

Fabulous franchisees know it makes sense!

And if you don’t want to take our word for it, then why not take it from some of our fabulous franchisees themselves. We recently caught up with Miss Lois from babyballet Stoke-on-Trent Central, Stone and Blythe Bridge and managed to find out a bit more about her life and what makes being a babyballet franchisee so rewarding …

How long has your babyballet school/franchise been running?

 One year

How has your personal and family life changed since babyballet?

My previous job was very far away from where I live so my combined work and travel time meant that I was out of the house for longer than 12 hours! With babyballet, I can work closer to home and work shorter hours.

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing the progression in students and watching them accomplish milestones.

What are the most rewarding parts of being a babyballet franchisee?

Being able to run your own business and make decisions on when you want to run classes.

How flexible is it being a babyballet franchisee?

You can choose the days that you work enabling flexibility. You could also use teachers if you didn’t wish to teach yourself.

Would you recommend becoming a babyballet franchisee to someone else?

Absolutely!

Say hello to Miss Jessie from Dartford!

We also caught up with Miss Jessie who has been running the Dartford, Bexley and Bromley babyballet franchise. She was only too eager to tell us all about her experiences running her incredibly successful babyballet business.

“gosh, where do i start? i’ve been running my babyballet franchise in dartford, bexley and bromley for around 10 years now. so much has happened since then – i got married and became a mum to my two boys who are now 6 and 3. i love the flexibility the job gives me to run my own business but at the same time be there for my children and not have to answer to a boss. i’ve built up a great team over the years and i know the classes are in fantastic hands if i need to concentrate on the growth of the business so i can be free to work on some of babyballet’s bigger projects, such as shows and charity events. i miss seeing the children develop and grow within each class as i no longer teach my own classes, but i do come in to cover the odd class and so get to see the children then, which is wonderful.
i think one of the most rewarding parts of running a babyballet franchise are my team of teachers. they are all fantastic and we have such a strong bond. i love working with the team so much. i must admit that i find show days massively rewarding, as we get to see the children shine on stage and experience just how proud the parents are. it gives me goose bumps just thinking about it. every day is rewarding – from seeing the children in class through to seeing how far the franchise has come in the last decade.”

Working around my children and their needs

“being a franchisee gives me the opportunity to work around my children and their needs. it is extremely hard work (as is any business which is your own) because ultimately, it’s up to me to get things done. but unlike being in another job, i never have to miss any of my children’s school events or clubs because i make it work around them.
i’d definitely recommend becoming a babyballet franchisee to someone else. i have no idea whatsoever what i would be doing if i wasn’t running a babyballet franchise. it was the perfect career for me, both before and after becoming a mum and means i am constantly adapting to suit my family life. i also couldn’t ask for a more supportive head office team or group of franchisee friends. there is so much support across the network.”
