Founded in 2011 by Chloe Williams, Little Wickets is the UK’s leading independent provider of pre-school, early years and primary cricket coaching for boys and girls. Created in response to Chloe’s search for fun, high-quality and age-appropriate sessions for her own young children, the business combines expert coaching with engaging, play-based delivery that embraces the life lessons of sport, rooted in the Spirit of Cricket—particularly teamwork and fair play.

Little Wickets delivers structured, values-led sessions for children from age 2½ upwards, helping them build confidence, coordination, teamwork and resilience. While some participants progress into County and England pathways, the core purpose is to help every child develop positive habits for life.

After more than a decade of refining programmes and delivery systems, Little Wickets strengthened its franchise operations in late 2024, creating a robust, ethical and supportive framework for growth. The first franchisee joined in early 2025 and has already established a strong platform for growth in Berkshire.

Little Wickets remains proudly family-led and entirely UK-based. Franchisees benefit from a proven, flexible business framework with multiple income streams, designed to fit around real lives while making a genuine impact in local communities. Support includes comprehensive training, detailed coaching manuals, a personalised booking system, national marketing activity and ongoing mentoring from a UK-based HQ team. Most franchisees launch within 6–12 weeks of training, and many choose to operate part-time or term-time only, with the option to scale through additional coaches, holiday camps and partnership programmes.
