Smoke & Pepper
Smoke & Pepper is a British restaurant and franchise brand. Built on a passion for exceptional food, operational excellence and genuine partnership, the business has grown from a single independent restaurant into one of the UK’s fastest-growing emerging franchise brands, with 19 locations now operating across England and more than 90 franchise territories secured for future expansion.
Our vision has always been to bridge the gap between traditional fast food and casual dining by offering premium quality food in a relaxed, contemporary setting. Every burger is made using 100% British grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef, complemented by freshly prepared chicken, slow-smoked meats, handcrafted sides, desserts and premium drinks. Alongside great food, we focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience through consistency, quality and hospitality.
From the beginning, Smoke & Pepper was designed to be scalable. Significant investment has been made in systems, technology, training and supply chain infrastructure to ensure every restaurant operates to the same high standards. This has enabled us to build a franchise model that gives partners the confidence, tools and ongoing support needed to establish successful businesses of their own.
Franchisees receive comprehensive assistance throughout their journey, including site acquisition support, restaurant design and fit-out guidance, operational training, marketing, business coaching and continuous operational support. We believe franchising is built on long-term relationships, and our success is measured by the success of our franchise partners.
As a female founder, I’ve built Smoke & Pepper with resilience, determination and a clear commitment to creating opportunities for others. Having grown the business while raising a family, i’m passionate about demonstrating that entrepreneurship is achievable regardless of background and is committed to encouraging more women into business ownership and franchising.
Smoke & Pepper is proud to be a member of the British Franchise Association (BFA) and has been recognised within the franchise and hospitality sectors, including receiving Uber Eats’ Trailblazer: Women in Food Award and being shortlisted for several national franchise and business awards. We’ve just been announced as Finalist for Young Guns award with the HSBC x BFA.
Looking ahead, our ambition is to establish Smoke & Pepper as a recognised international British restaurant brand while continuing to strengthen our UK network. By combining premium food, robust business systems and a people first approach to franchising, we aim to create lasting value for our customers, franchise partners and the communities we serve.
