SylvianCare is expanding its care services in the South West after recently being approved as a home care supplier to the local authority in Bristol.

This means that SylvianCare South Gloucester and SylvianCare Bristol East will be providing more home care services in their communities – good news for care clients and the franchisees who own and run these offices.

SylvianCare South Gloucester got into action immediately following its registration with the CQC last month. The franchisees, Jerry Bosu and Alisha Limbu, both former mental health nurses, began providing bespoke services to elderly people in the local  community straight away.

“This fantastic achievement was made possible by SylvianCare’s dedicated franchise team, who worked tirelessly to provide the necessary support and guidance for us to get our registration,” said Alisha.

“We had tried to register with the CQC before, but found it very difficult – that’s why we chose to get into the home care sector with a franchise – and it worked.”

SylvianCare Bristol East will be opening soon. Betty Ndekwu, who has over 30 years’ experience in nursing, and her husband Eddy, a retired Cambridge economics professor, have only just signed the franchise agreement.

Betty says: “We are excited to start our new business, bringing high-quality care to people in Bristol East. Our children are now grown up and we wanted to run our own business and to make a practical difference to the quality of life of people in our community.

“We chose to start with a SylvianCare franchise because they are as passionate as we are about enabling people to stay in their own homes with the bespoke support they need to remain independent.”

Betty and Eddy will be supported through the CQC application process step-by-step by the franchise team at SylvianCare and expect to begin trading in around two months.

At SylvianCare head office we provide continuous support to all our franchisees for the duration of the franchise agreement, to help them grow their client base while ensuring quality services. We are looking forward to serving more communities in the future.
