There are only 10 days to go until Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2015, which this year will run from Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd November, and plans to make this year as successful as ever are already well underway.
Here at EWIF we are delighted to announce that we have become a partner of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship. Each year, it plays a critical role in encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs to consider starting up their own business.

“EWIF are delighted to support Global Entrepreneurship Week as GEW purpose of inspiring people to explore their potential as self-starters and innovators is very similar to EWIF’s mission of ‘encouraging, inspiring, educating and supporting more women into franchising’. Franchising is an excellent model for many women who want to have their own business but with the support and guidance of an established brand and a proven business model. We wholly support the ethos behind Global Entrepreneurship Week and hope that with EWIF’s support more people can realise their dream of having their own business” says Clive Sawyer, CEO of EWIF.

At EWIF our regional meetings are designed to provide the opportunity for prospective franchisors and franchisees to meet and network with a range of industry experts offering advice on how to enter the franchise industry. The EWIF Regional Meetings for the North and South West both run on the 12th November and will form part the global activities that highlight and celebrate entrepreneurship alongside offering practical support to those who are interested in setting up their own business or developing their business networks.

This year one of the themes running through Global Entrepreneurship Week is ‘Make it Happen’. Recently at our 2015 National Conference, we announced a very similar 2016 focus of ‘Making Things Happen’. The linked proved the perfect opportunity for us to team up and provide a fantastic opportunity for people to take action on their entrepreneurial ideas.
