The Franchise Show Sponsor Success
With the 2016 NatWest EWIF Awards over, we would like to take the chance to thank all our sponsors for their contribution to this year’s awards and also tell you a little bit more about the sponsor of our Service Provider of the Year Award.
This year, The Franchise Show were the sponsors of the 2016 Service Provider of the Year Award won by Donna King of Franchise Finance. The organisers of The Franchise Show are delighted to be sponsoring an EWIF award for the third time. We’re proud to have the support of such a large brand behind the EWIF awards and we know that the winners of the awards benefit from the backing of established brands behind them.
“This will be the third year we are sponsoring one of these highly regarded awards, which are specifically designed to bring together the best women in the industry and celebrate their success. We are proud to be part of this event and fully support the EWIF organisation as encouraging women to consider being involved in franchising adds a whole new aspect to the franchise of franchises out there,” explains Ceri Rogers, Event Director at New Start Exhibitions, the company behind the Best Franchise Show in the world.
Our Service Provider of the Year Award stood out from the rest this year as it was the only award that was open to both male and female applicants.
“With so many of our members being men, it only felt right to open this award to both male and female applicants. Many of our male members contribute a lot of time and effort to the EWIF cause and we want to be able to recognise those who help and support women into franchising” explains Sarah Carlile, Co-Chair of EWIF.
This award recognises the service provider who has done the most to support, encourage and assist women into franchising and Donna King was a worthy winner for this year’s award as her passion for franchising and providing support to women shone through in her entry.
The Franchise Show has been part of the franchise industry for over 11 years. As a free exhibition for aspiring franchisees to attend, The Franchise Show has supported countless people in finding a franchise that suits them. Their mission is to provide visitors with the inspiration, advice and information they need to engage in self-development.
The Franchise Show is a huge supporter of the EWIF cause and are in a great position to encourage more women into franchising!
EWIF’s primary focus is to support women who are looking for a route into the franchise industry. Our remit is threefold; to encourage women to consider buying a franchise, to encourage business women to franchise their existing operations and to help franchisors attract more women to their networks. We are a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, providing advice and guidance to anyone looking at trying to break into the franchise industry.
