UK theatre school franchise invited to participate in World Education Summit

A theatre school franchise with more than 23 years’ experience in the children’s activity sector was invited to participate in an education conference attended by leaders in their respected fields. The world is now global and as a leading performing arts franchise in the UK, Razzamataz Theatre Schools were delighted to be invited to be part of an esteemed panel of guest speakers to talk about the future of education.

Razzamataz attended the elets 25^th World Education Summit at the Millennium Plaza Downtown Hotel in Dubai to discuss the most pressing issues surrounding education. This included integrating technology and the relevance of artificial intelligence and ensuring students are well positioned for the challenges and opportunities that the future world of work will present.

MD and Founder of Razzamataz Denise Hutton Gosney was invited along with PR Manager Karen Keeman and Operations Director Charlotte Young. The team were invited to conduct a presentation about Razzamataz, including outlining their strategic partnerships with some of the most influential brands worldwide including Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. and 20^th Century Fox and being an Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust.

As well as sharing ideas and collaborating with leaders from across the world about implementing best practice into the classroom, the Razzamataz team were also invited to discuss international expansion and partnerships.

“We were privileged to be asked to attend and share how performing arts is a crucial part in every student’s development to ensure we are providing a rich educational experience,” says Denise. “As performing arts specialists, we have always known how it enriches young people’s lives, so we are delighted that this is a talking point in an educational summit with an emphasis on the future of teaching.”

Both Denise and Karen were invited to sit on two panels to discuss how performing arts can be integrated to sit side by side with STEM subjects and how the arts enhance learning, both academically and holistically.

 The first panel featured a conversation about redefining leadership in the era of globalisation and strengthening technological intervention, inclusivity, and sustainability in education.

Performing arts and the role it plays in enhancing creativity then took centre stage with a discussion about how it can be used to unlock the potential to explore and understand new concepts and to let the imagination run wild to encourage different ways of thinking.

Karen explained: “At Razzamataz, we create a safe and welcoming environment for students to enable them to express their thoughts, emotions, and feelings feely. Such an environment allows students to connect with their inner selves, which can lead to unlocking their creativity. When students feel secure, they are more likely to think outside the box, work collaboratively, and come up with innovative ideas.”
