Domestic Angels has begun this decade with a brand-new milestone with its debut entry into the Elite Franchise Top 100 franchise businesses for 2020. The home-based business has never been ‘ranked’ before as it was too young however, given that there are more than 900 franchise brands operating in the UK, the Angels team feel that that they have totally ‘smashed it’ with their debut ranking of 88th.

Elite Franchise stated, ‘It’s only been 3 years since Domestic Angels spread their wings and became a franchise, but they are already flying high as a new entry in our list of the UK’s top 100. The judging process isn’t just about profitability or the scale of businesses, but also the support provided to franchisees, employees and the benefits they bring to the communities in which they operate. The businesses who have made it onto the Elite Franchise 2020 are truly exemplary.’

First franchisee through the doors, Deb Broomfield, says ‘This has given me an amazing business opportunity, but at the same time the ability to manage and spend time with my family.’ Elite Franchise continues ‘And Domestic Angels continues to go from strength to strength, thanks to its strong business model, ethos and moral framework, all of which contribute to this unique successful formula.’

Founder Samantha Acton proudly explains ‘We are still a home-based business and proud of it. Each franchisee enjoys personal and extensive support from the leadership team and business family, including weekly contact, monthly one-to-ones, and regular meetings focussed on well-being.’ In-house software and book-keeping are managed centrally, allowing franchisees to focus on development and service.

Samantha adds: ‘We are unashamedly parents first and foremost. This is a part-time, home-based franchise, providing a lot of employment and ensuring that franchisees can be the parents and relatives they need to be. We have work-life balanced nailed. It’s what makes all of us tick and puts a smile on our faces whilst we work.
