With live theatre back and better than ever before, a theatre school franchise is offering its students and franchisees an incredible opportunity in the heart of theatreland.

Razzamataz Theatre Schools has partnered with The Shaftesbury Theatre, home to smash hit show &Juliet to give students a unique opportunity to perform in a gala show at the end of 2022 and early 2023.

Performing on a West End stage is a dream that many children have. But with such stiff competition, it generally is only the very few who can make that dream a reality. But now, the franchise schools across the UK are on the lookout for new students that would like to get involved in this wonderful opportunity that will create memories that will last a lifetime.

“Being part of the cast of the gala show at The Shaftesbury Theatre will be a magical moment for our students and we are so delighted to be able to offer them this amazing opportunity, especially after they missed out on so many during the lockdowns,” says Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz. “It’s very emotional to see our students perform in such an iconic theatre and from experience we know that this is something that the children and their families hold very dear. Razzamataz is all about making memories and we couldn’t be prouder of all our schools.”

Just some of the recent reviews include: “As a gran, I came to watch my two granddaughters over two separate performances. It was great seeing them on the stage enjoying themselves, watching their confidence grow and their focus was just brilliant, as were all the youngsters on the stage. Thank you from a proud gran.”

Razzamataz is no stranger to creating incredible events for students. For several years, students got the chance to perform at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End and more recently, they took to the stage at London’s 02 as well as Disneyland Paris. There is even a special trip to New York in the pipeline.

“These events are not only wonderful for the children and their families, but they are also incredible marketing opportunities that come from being part of a large, experienced franchise network,” adds Denise. “When people ask why join a franchise instead of being an independent, we can demonstrate the value that our network provides. As well as generating good marketing exposure, there is such a lot of good will that is shared on social media by all the families, creating invaluable word of mouth referrals.”

Due to the popularity of this West End performing opportunity, there are two gala performances scheduled, one in December and one in February 2023. The schools are currently planning their pieces as well as using the event as a marketing tool to recruit more students.

“There will always be a churn in the children’s activity sector so we know how important it is to constantly provide fresh and exciting opportunities that our franchisees can use to recruit new students,” explains Denise. “There is a huge amount of work that goes into putting on a production like this, but we are lucky to have a very experienced team at Head Office who will ensure that everything runs smoothly, giving franchisees and their customers peace of mind.”

The West End gala performance is just one of the many events that Razzamataz franchisees can take advantage of. Being part of a network of performing arts professionals enables franchisees to offer their students incredible opportunities and contacts for those that want a career in this exciting industry.

Being part of this franchise network enables people without previous performing arts experience the opportunity to run their own theatre school, thanks to all the training, support, and contacts. Razzamataz is currently recruiting and expanding its team of teachers, staff, and new Principals.
