For a number of years Angela Sterling, founder of Lingotot, has been our dedicated North East Regional Chair. As Angela’s work commitments have intensified, she has decided it’s time to step down and welcome a new Regional Chair into the North East network. So, who will be stepping up to the plate? Drum roll please… Kieran James, MD of Stryde has kindly agreed to take up
the mantle.

Kieran is no stranger to the franchise industry. He is Managing Director of Accountancy firm Stryde, whose aim is to provide financial clarity to the franchise sector through services such as business plan creation, financial training, accountancy and supporting the automation of financial processes.

He’s also Non-Executive Director of the Children’s Activities Association, a not for profit organisation that helps parents, schools, nurseries and children’s activities providers to raise the standard of children’s activity provision.

Kieran has been an active EWIF member, over the past two years, and has been helping to support and organise the running of the EWIF North East regional meetings, alongside Angela. Kieran has been able to build relationships with attendees and he has made a conscious effort to regularly attend regional and national EWIF events.

He has also been featured as a guest speaker within the North East and North West regions, to provide a free insight and training to franchisors and franchisees, as well as those considering franchising. He has also hosted 1-2-1 sessions with attendees of the regional meetings.

Angela has been a fantastic asset to the EWIF team and it is with great sadness we say goodbye to her as Regional Chair, but hope she will remain an active member of the EWIF network.

We would like to give a very warm welcome to Kieran and wish him all the best as our brand new North East Regional Chair!
