We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came along to our awards ceremony at the end of May. We had a record number of entries this year and it was great to see so many people from across the industry coming together to celebrate and recognise both their own and others’ achievements. It was great to see all of our winners and we hope to see you all, and more, at next year’s awards!

The 2016 NatWest EWIF Awards may be over, but the EWIF calendar is still jam-packed! With two EWIF regional meetings and events across the whole industry we can guarantee you will not be short of places to be this month.

Our first regional meeting of the month is the regional North meeting, held on Thursday 9th June. Linda Price, Chair of the North region, recently sold her franchise, Swimtime UK Ltd, however she will remain at Swimtime in her role as brand ambassador and will continue to devote her time to organising and running the North regional meetings. To round up a busy period of events, on the 23rd June we have the South-West regional meeting, run and organised by Claire Robinson of Extra Help.

“By joining us at regional meetings you will have the opportunity to meet and build valuable, working relationships with other franchisors and franchisees, in a relaxed yet focused manner on a regular basis” explains Claire.

The venue of the South-West meeting is yet to be confirmed, however you can find out more by visiting the South-West page.

June Spotlight Event

Is there anything more wasteful of your time, damaging to relationships and needlessly expensive than litigation that could have been avoided? Even disputes that don’t make it to the litigation stage are damaging and time consuming.

But there are simple practical steps you can take to identify potential areas of conflict and deal with them before they get out of control.

Join The Franchising Centre on Tuesday 21st June at their ‘How to avoid the expense and damage of litigation’ workshop. This workshop is not just about the law- it is about practical, common sense ways of preventing disagreements and minor grievances escalating in to serious disputes.
