Nottingham-based home care provide PerCurra has reached the regional finals in two categories of this year’s Great British Care Awards. The annual awards celebrate excellence across the care sector.
Care Assistant Laura Green has been selected in the Home Care Worker category which recognises high quality support, dedication, skills development and awareness of colleagues. PerCurra’s Care Manager Carole White said: “We are thrilled for Laura. She has a wonderful attitude and is making a huge difference to the life of the client she supports.
PerCurra’s founder and Managing Director Gill Heppell has been nominated for the Care Employer Award and been named as a finalist. This award acknowledges and celebrates an employer’s commitment to care and their success in delivering an excellent service. To impress the judges, employers must demonstrate entrepreneurial flair and have a sustained track record of delivering high quality care.
Laura and Gill all will both be interviewed by the Great British Care Award judges later this month. All finalists are invited to a gala dinner on 1st November at the East Midlands Conference Centre where the results will be announced. Category winners go forward to the national finals.
